Chamber hosting candidate forums

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The June Primary Election is less than three weeks away (Tuesday, June 2), and while there will not be an in-person forum, the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce is working to help voters get to the know the candidates.

The Chamber is hosting three candidate forums via ZOOM within the next week. The first one takes place Thursday, May 14 and the other two will be next week.

Gail Ochs, Chamber President, talked about the forums.

The forums will be moderated and people will be able to ask questions of the candidates.

The forums will last about an hour. The first one is at 2 p.m. Thursday and includes the candidates for the Brown County Commission: Rachel Kippley (R), Michael Nehls (D), and Duane Sutton (R). That link is: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_oI_ARFgaQqecY15CbepliQ

Ochs said that the forums will be archived in case people aren’t able to participate or watch them live.
