Chamber leader calls session productive

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – The main run of the 2020 South Dakota legislative session turned out to be pretty productive.

Dave Owen is President of the state Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a long time legislative observer.

Owen says several of their issues got through this year.

Owen says legislators debated and then defeated many of the controversial issues early in the session.

Lawmakers return for the final day on March 30.
