SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — You heard it right – Chick-fil-A will build its first restaurant in Sioux Falls.

Mayor Paul TenHaken happily proclaimed the announcement ‘live’ on Facebook.

The long-sought restaurant will be located at the new Empire Place development in front of the Empire Mall on 41st Street. The development is under construction.

The announcement ends days of speculation on social media about what the Mayor would be revealing on Facebook.
