ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Last week, the Aberdeen Public Works Department asked citizens of Aberdeen to limit their water use this week through Thursday  to allow them to work on a new water main at South Dakota Street & 1st Avenue SE.

At Tuesday night’s city council meeting, City Manager Joe Gaa talked about what happened last week that prompted this.

After hearing complaints, the Public Works quickly checked to see what was causing this.

Public Works Department will try again on Wednesday to get this done.  Gaa made sure the department gave a more advance notice.

Gaa also praised the work of the Public Works Department for their actions last week.
