ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The city of Aberdeen was recognized over the weekend in Gettysburg, P.A.

Ron Krogman with 40/8 reminded the council that the city was recognized as the city of the year when dealing with veterans.

Last Saturday, the city received a major award in Gettysburg.  Krogman read the proclamation.

Aberdeen Deputy Mayor Alan Johnson who was in Gettysburg on Saturday credit the organization for the effort they do for the city.

A plaque acknowledging that wasn’t ready that day but Krogman hope to present that at either a future city council meeting or at the Veterans Day event at Aberdeen Central High School on November 11th.
