Summer often means pests, like mosquitoes.. Parks Superintendent Tyler Bierman told us how they determine when spraying needs to be done and what trap numbers mean.

There is another way that is also effective and can be used to determine when spraying is done.

He went on to talk about the difference in an Adulticide, which is used, and a Pesticide which is not.

While the fog is ultimately safe, common sense would tell us not to directly inhale the fog.

The City monitors traps and hears reports throughout the season, and it’s worth noting, that the spray is only effective on airborne mosquitoes.
