KXLG News caught up with Mayor Pat Raffety after the ceremony to learn more about this big project for a small town.
In between, the teams played on a CO-ED softball field, which was not quite the size and dimensions they needed to play.
There is much more to the project than just the field, so they still need donors.
The City promised to build an essential workable field, including dugouts, lights, etc.
