City of Sioux Falls approve funding for street outreach

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- The City of Sioux Falls approved funding to expand street outreach efforts.

South Dakota Urban Indian Health will receive $175,000 to fill important roles needed for the Wo’Okiye (whoa-oakey) Project.

The program’s CEO Michaela Seiber is excited to hire new positions.

Seiber hopes to continue building trust and continuity of care with the unhoused people.
