YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Despite rising material costs and interest rates, Yankton could see another big year in development.

Dave Mingo, Community Economic and Development Director for the City of Yankton, says they are seeing a continuation of last year’s trend.

Mingo says they are anticipating a variety of developments.

Mingo says a shortage of housing continues to be an issue.

Just under forty-five million dollars in building permits were issued by the city last year.
