YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The first sales tax report of the new year for the City of Yankton shows a familiar trend.

Leon says January is normally a down month for sales taxes.

Leon says some of the increase is due to inflation.

Leon says while revenue is up for the city, costs are rising for them as well.
