Clark County Sheriff’s Office seeking help in identifying who shot a young Colt

CLARK COUNTY, S.D.(KXLG)- Clark County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect that shot and killed a 2-month-old Colt with what appeared to be a “large bore rifle.”

A $1,500 reward is offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction. It is believed the shooting happened sometime between June 9th and June 11th. The horse was found dead in a pasture along 432nd Ave in eastern Clark County, SD.

There have been other reports from neighbors who have heard loud gunshots near their homes and witnessed a blue Ford pickup speeding away from one of these locations. Please check your game cams and other home/farm security cameras.
