SDGA Sanford International Series Championship @ Sutton Bay GC in Agar, SD

AGAR, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – Regardless of level of class (B, A, AA) in high school athletics, the best of the best always shine through.

That was exactly the case on Monday from Agar & Sutton Bay, the three-time class B state champion from Clark/WL, Brynn Roehrich would be the medalist and win the SDGA Sanford International Series Championship after defeating Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun on the second playoff hole.

Braun & Roehrich both finished the day (+1, 73) for the day, while Aberdeen Roncalli grad, Claire Crawford tied for third place with the soon-to-be sophomore from O’Gorman, Ari Jacobs with a (+4, 76). All three student athletes will be playing golf at the next level: Roehrich has verballed to USD, Braun will be attending SDSU in the fall & Crawford will don the blue & white of DWU in the Autumn of ’26.

Roehrich who attends Clark/WL high school will be a senior in the fall represented class B well, she will go for the four-peat next spring. Of course, Braun, a class AA grad & third place’s Claire Crawford a graduate from an A school, in Aberdeen Roncalli.

On the boys side of things, Tyson Lunn of Brookings would be the medalist, winning on the third hole of the playoff against Branon’s Cooper Shuman. Aberdeen’s Harper Schnabel tied for 16^th place, carding an (+8, 80) for the afternoon.
