Clean up continue following fire at Vermillion High School

The clean up is continuing at Vermillion High School following a fire last week.

Superintendent Damon Alvey says the worst damage was contained to one small area.

Alvey says the storage closet was designed to limit damage in case of a fire.

Alvey says students have been out of the building since the fire.

Alvey says the entire building had smoke damage from the fire. Clean up includes new ceiling tiles, carpet and books. He says most of the damages will be covered by insurance.
