WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- Codington County Commissioners approved a Resolution for a Declaration of Emergency Disaster due to the recent and anticipated flooding damage incurred in Codington County.

Codington County Emergency Management Director Andrew Delgado explains.

If the state meets the threshold, the County can potentially receive funding.

Delgado says they have spoken with the Townships as well.

Commissioner Lee Gabel elaborates on the resolution.

The resolution was approved unanimously.
