WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- As the County Commissioner received budget request overviews from each department, Commissioner VanDusen noticed a significant increase in the coroner’s budget. He requested Coroner Terry Sorensen come forward and review his budget with the commissioners.

Commissioner VanDusen’s focused inquiry was on the $15,000 increase on the budget; Sorensen explains.

Now, the question would be where it will be housed in a secured location.

The topic of the location of the cooler was postponed till a later date. Sorensen will need new radios to stay compliant with the South Dakota P25 compliance when on the digital spectrum.
