ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – Northern State University students are invited to attend COLLEGEpalooza on Thursday, August 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. 2023 marks the seventh year of this annual back-to-school celebration which will be held at Malchow Plaza, 506 South Main Street, and showcases what the Aberdeen community has to offer. There will be scholarship drawings from American Bank & Trust, Dacotah Bank, Healthcare Plus Federal Credit Union, Plains Commerce Bank & US Bank, and free giveaways for the students.
Over 50 local businesses and organizations will have tables set up to interact with the students, promote their products & services and potentially find employees. Students can learn more about Aberdeen’s restaurants, entertainment, products, services, churches and much more. NSU students in attendance will receive free ice cream and have the chance to win scholarships and door prizes.
COLLEGEpalooza is a collaborative effort that has included representatives from the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce and Northern State University. This event is free and open to the public, giving the community a chance to interact with NSU students.
