ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – Northern State University and Presentation College students are invited to attend COLLEGEpalooza on Friday, August 26th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. 2022 marks the sixth year of this annual back-to-school celebration which will be held at South Main Street and 5th Avenue. This event immediately precedes the final free downtown concert for this summer.
Over 50 local businesses and organizations will have tables set up to interact with the students, promote their products & services and potentially find employees. Students can learn more about what Aberdeen has to offer from restaurants & entertainment to products, services, churches and much more. In addition, there will be a Tug-of War competition, scholarship drawings from American Bank & Trust, Dacotah Bank, Healthcare Plus Federal Credit Union, Plains Commerce Bank & US Bank and free giveaways for the students.
COLLEGEpalooza is a collaborative effort that has included representatives from the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce, Aberdeen Downtown Association, Northern State University and Presentation College.
