WALWORTH COUNTY, S.D. (DRG News) – A 25-year-old woman from Wellington, Colorado, faces drug charges after an early morning traffic stop in Walworth County over the weekend (July 25).

According to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, a grey four door vehicle was eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 about 2am Saturday morning. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and S.D. Highway 271, where marijuana and controlled substances were discovered.

The female was arrested and placed at the Walworth County Jail charged with four felony and one misdemeanor marijuana and controlled substance charges.
