YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – A legislative committee dealing with the nursing home at the Human Services Center wrapped up their interim meetings last week.

Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, Chair of the group, says they decided not to write any bills for the 2020 session due to the nature and number of patients in the facility.

Hunhoff says they asked the state agency in charge to ask for more information.

Hunhoff says they will also need information on the costs involved.

Hunhoff says their report will be added to the overall mental health interim study.
