YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Yankton School Board is developing a formal communication policy that will help ensure that public comments are received and acknowledged. Board attorney Mike Marlow says the policy deals with comments received through email and the district website.
Board member Terry Crandall says each member should also be able to respond.
Marlow says their policy will allow all board members to respond as necessary.
The policy was on first reading at the board meeting last (Monday) night and will be formally adopted at a future meeting.
