OMAHA, N.E.(KELO)- How confident are you about the economy over the next year?

That question was posed to community bankers from our region by Creighton University…and they were overwhelmingly negative.

It’s part of Creighton’s monthly Rural Mainstreet Index…and economist Ernie Goss says it’s the lowest reading on economic confidence in the survey’s history, going back to 2006.

The overall index dropped again last month, reaching its lowest level in three years.
