ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is hosting its Annual Spring Community Garden Meeting on Wednesday, March 27. The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. in the Alumni room at the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center, 225 Third Ave. S.E.

Aaron Kiesz, City Forester, talked about the meeting.

Plots are $20 for 1,200 square feet, and $10 for 600 square feet.

Kiesz said that the plots have been known to sell out.

He said that anyone interested should come to the meeting or call the Parks and Rec Office.
