KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WNAX) – Concern is rising over the possibility of more flooding across the Missouri River basin next spring.

Doug Kluck is with the National Weather Services Central Region Office in Kansas City.

Kluck says the long term forecasts are not favorable right now.

Kluck says there are no official forecasts now, just more of a precaution.

The first official flood forecasts will be issued in February.
