WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up at 8pm tonight, President Joe Biden will be delivering his first State of the Union address.  Congressman Dusty Johnson preview what could be mentioned during the speech.

Johnson talks about the issue of Russian invasion of Ukraine and the bipartisan support the President is getting regarding sanctions against Russia.

Johnson would like to hear how the President will address the issue of inflation.

State of the Union speeches in the past has always been partisan with ovations from one party and not from the other.  Johnson talks about ways that we can get ovations from both sides of the aisle.

Group to keep an eye tonight is the progressive wing of the Democratic party, Johnson feels no matter what President Biden does, it will not be enough to satisfy their needs.

Another topic the President likely will discuss is the opportunity to put his nominee Kentanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court.  Johnson talks about the role Senate Republicans will play in that.

Another issue that could be brought up is voting rights.  Johnson talks about that topic.
