Congressman Johnson address different issues during his stop in Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson was in Watertown Thursday to speak at the South Dakota Municipal League’s annual conference.

Johnson has been discussing foreign companies, specifically China, buying excessive acres of agricultural land.

Johnson says even social media is cause for concern.

Johnson says the U.S. needs more data and better data. For instance, Bill Gates is the Nation’s single largest farmland owner, and what he is doing with the 360,000 acres he has in this country.

Johnson touches on the inflation problem.

We also discussed the upcoming Summit Carbon pipeline, that’s generating more discussion as it gets closer to fruition. Johnson says we have elected officials for a reason, like the P.U.C., let’s let them do what they do.
