WASHINGTON, D.C.(KELO)- This may be a new year…but nothing’s new on the nation’s southern border.

Record numbers of migrants are pouring across the border, and it seems nothing is being done to stop them.

In a recent interview with Gordon Deal, Congressman Dusty Johnson said it will take cooperation in Washington to fix the problem.

Johnson says the House has passed a comprehensive immigration measure, but so far, there’s no action in the Democrat-controlled Senate.
