WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- Congressman Dusty Johnson commented on other topics involving what’s happening out in D.C.

One was dealing with Operation Arctic Frost which happened during President Biden’s administration.  This involved 44 members of Congress who had their text messages obtained by the Department of Justice.

40 members were Republicans while the other 4 were Democrats.

Johnson also updated on the budget that needs to be passed by September 30th to avoid a shutdown.  He talks about doing a continuing resolution that will goes through December.

Johnson expects the U.S. House to pass the resolution this week prior to the August recess.

Johnson has been working with Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin on the Eliminate Shutdown Act.  He reminded the listeners what the bill does.

Johnson admitted that it’s not likely that will be able to clear the U.S. Congress.
