WASHINGTON, D.C.(Northern Plains News)- South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson defended the so-called “big, beautiful bill” during a telephone town hall last Wednesday night.
He said the legislation extends Trump-era tax cuts and adds new breaks for working families.
Johnson faced questions about concerns over Medicaid work requirements and spending cuts.
A poll during the town hall showed 57 percent of callers support the bill, while 29 percent oppose it.
