WASHINGTON, D.C.(WNAX)- South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson made it official this week with a low key, social media announcement that he is running for re-election. He says he would rather work than campaign.
Johnson says he has a record he will run on.
Johnson says being in Congress is frustrating at times, but he wants to try to make it more functional.
Johnson was first elected to the US House in 2018. So far, republican Representative Taffy Howard of Rapid City has announced she wants to challenge Johnson for the nomination. No democrat has yet announced for Congress.
