RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson, a member of the House Committee on Agriculture, says his team is taking cattle country to DC.
That bipartisan bill aims to “ease regulatory barriers and offer USDA meat processing grants for small processors looking to expand,” and was ultimately largely included in a President Biden executive order.
Johnson acknowledged there is still work to be done though.
Johnson faces a challenge from Republican Rapid City State Representative Taffy Howard in the June 7th primary election.
