VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- During his appearance at Girls State at USD earlier this month, Congressman Dusty Johnson told the girls that “both political parties are messed up” in Washington.

He says democrats appear to be veering wide left.

Johnson says many so called moderate democrats lost their primary races.

Johnson says republican leadership expects members to fall in line.

Johnson won his primary race earlier this month against Taffy Howard and may face a libertarian challenger in November.
