Congressman Johnson testifies on Wounded Knee Massacre Land Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- Congressman Dusty Johnson on Wednesday testified before the House Natural Resources Indian and Insular Affairs Subcommittee on his Wound Knee Massacre Land Bill.

Johnson talks about what happened back in 1890 at Wounded Knee.

Johnson talks about the U.S. Government apologizing for what happened 100 years later.

Johnson acknowledged the hard work the Cheyenne River & Oglala Sioux tribes did in 2021.

Johnson introduced the bill about six months ago.
