VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- Improved weather has helped pick up the pace of construction of the new elementary school in Vermillion.
Superintendent Damon Alvey says the outline of the building is now becoming apparent.
Alvey says the contractor has been making up days lost to winter weather.
Alvey says they have had some good news on getting needed equipment.
Voters approved a twenty six million dollar bond issue last fall for the new school which will replace the Austin and Jolley buildings.
