WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)–Construction on the Archway project at Lake Area Technical College in Watertown is running a bit behind schedule, and it’s now looking like a completion date will happen in early May.
That was the word from LATC Vice President Cam Corey at Monday night’s school board meeting, as he provided an update on the project.
Corey says the arrival of glass needed for construction held things up a bit.
Groundbreaking on the Archway project was held in July 2022.
It’s a nearly $20 million project that will include two new classroom buildings, and an enclosed pedestrian walkway over Arrow Avenue that will connect the north and south sides of campus.
