YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Construction will start this spring on a $15 million, 100,000-square foot fieldhouse at Mount Marty College in Yankton.

President Marc Long says they are outgrowing their current facilities.

Long says they need facilities like this to attract more students.

Long says the fieldhouse will also be available for community and regional events.

An eight lane, 200-meter track along with an artificial turf practice field will be housed in the building. The project should be done in the fall of 2020.
