WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) – Construction is underway on Watertown’s new airport terminal.
A ceremonial groundbreaking was held Wednesday afternoon. It’ll be located just northeast of the current terminal.
Airport Manager Todd Syhre talked about the project.
The new terminal will be about 25,000 square feet in size–or more than double the size of the current building.
The cost of the project will be in the $17 to 20 million range.
Completion is scheduled in December of next year.
