ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – While people have been staying home and practicing social distancing, the Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has found a pair of ways to help promote the city for times when there may be less restrictions on being out and about.

The CVB is promoting a pair of free packages. One is called the Dream Now, Adventure Later package. It includes two nights lodging in an Aberdeen Hotel Alliance partner of choice, meal allowance, $100 gas card, two Storybook Land ride punch cards, a $25 SBL gift card, a $100 gift card to Wylie Thunder Road Go-Karts, Bumper Boats or Mini-Golf, and a $50 Allevity Entertainment gift card. The winner will be announced July 1.

Casey Weismantel, Executive Director of the CVB, talked about that package.

The other package is called the Cabin Vacation Bundle (CVB). That includes two nights lodging in a deluxe cabin at Wylie Park Campground, four tickets to the Aqua Addicts, four tickets to Brown County Speedway, two Storybook Land ride punch cards, four passes to the Aberdeen Aquatic Center, eight tickets to Wylie Thunder Road Go-Karts, Bumper Boats or Mini-Golf, and a $100 Aberdeen gift card.

Weismantel explained the thought process behind that package.

Weismantel said the Cabin Vacation Bundle will run the entire year because the prizes are for 2021.
