ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Convention and Visitors Bureau is starting out the new year in a new home.

The CVB has already moved into to the developing Malchow’s Plaza on South Main St. Casey Weismantel, Director of the CVB, talked about the new location.

The pandemic forced the CVB to think outside the box and Weismantel said their camping promotion was a big hit.

The CVB also extended its promotional reach, finding a city in Minnesota that turned out to be a good fit.

COVID took a toll on the 2020 numbers, but Weismantel said he still hopes to finish the year strong when the final totals come in.
