Coronavirus could have multiple impacts on economy

OMAHA, Neb. (WNAX) – While the last monthly report on the Mid America economy indicated continued slow growth, there are several looming threats.

Creighton University professor Ernie Goss, who compiles the report, says there is one overriding concern now.

Goss says the virus could have multiple impacts on regional businesses.

Goss says it also looks like the U.S. dollar will be getting stronger, which will also have an impact.

The latest report also did not factor in the latest shocks in crude oil prices.
