PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Covid-19 vaccinations are widely available in South Dakota but the pace of those getting shots has slowed down.
State Health Department Secretary Kim Malsam Rysdon says a majority of the state eligible population has gotten at least one shot.
Malsam-Rysdon says they have enough vaccine for anyone that wants a shot.
Malsam-Rysdon says kids twelve and over should also get the shots before school starts.
Just over fifty one percent of the states eligible population has completed the two-shot series. State health officials are still hoping to get that number to seventy percent later this year.
