VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- There has been much discussion and debate over “critical race theory” and its implementation and instruction in public schools.
University of South Dakota Law School Dean Neil Fulton it’s a very narrow, legal topic.
Fulton says CRT is usually only used in high level university courses.
Fulton says many of those upset about the issue may not understand it.
Governor Kristi Noem has been among the public officials critical of teaching the theory.
