PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Thursday marks the final day of this year’s South Dakota Legislature. Update on bills District 23 legislators primed this session.
Senator Mark Lapka:
Senator Lapka primed no bills in the Senate but is primed to HB1052(No eminent domain for CO2 pipeline) and that cleared both chambers and signed by Governor Larry Rhoden. He also primed on HB1165 that was defeated in the South Dakota Senate on a 19-15 vote.
Representative Scott Moore:
Representative Moore primed no bills in the House, did do a commeration(HC8010 celebrating 68 years of Little People of America)
Representative Spencer Gosch:
Representative Gosch primed 4 bills.
HB1165(Refund on assessment of crops)- defeated on a 19-15 vote by the South Dakota Senate
HB1183(Amend revenue based on school districts)- withdrawn(tabled)
HB1242(limit political campaign dollars)- South Dakota Senate tabled the bill on a 25-8 vote.
HJR5007– withdrawn(tabled)
Representative Gosch also primed 4 bills introduced in the South Dakota Senate.
SB78(Ammo can be used for certain animals)- Signed by Governor Rhoden
SB100(concealed pistols on college campuses)- Passed both chambers, at Governor’s Desk
SB201(Contributions from federal funds to state)- SD House defeat bill on 38-32 vote.
