YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – District 18 Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton has filed to run for reelection to the state House.
He says he did think briefly about running for the Senate but decided to stay where he is.
State Senator Craig Kennedy announced he would not be running again.
Cwach says he enjoys the action on the House side.
Cwach, a Democrat in a small minority, says he wants to see like minded representatives of either party come to Pierre.
Democrat Carol Williams of Yankton has also filed for the House race as has former Republican Representative Mike Stevens.
