YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Damages are still being totaled from last week’s windstorms and tornadoes across the region.

Rod Nohr with Nohr-Wortmann Engineering of Yankton says he has been called to dozens of ag and industrial sites.

Nohr says they are tracking damage from two days of storms.

Nohr says they are finding that a lot of equipment and structures don’t have enough insurance coverage.

Nohr says recovery won’t be quick.

Nohr says construction crews & equipment will move to other parts of the country.

Nohr says many sites he has seen are badly underinsured with only enough coverage for cleanup and not rebuilding.
