ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Monday is the deadline to get registered to vote or to change party affiliation to be eligible to vote in South Dakota’s Republican primary gubernatorial runoff election on July 28th. Absentee or in person voting continues until Monday, July 27th.
The Voter Registration form is available on the South Dakota Secretary of State’s website and from county auditor’s offices. Use this form to:
- Register to vote.
- Change your voter registration name or address.
- Change your party affiliation.
To register or change party:
- Print the Voter Registration Form,
- fill-out the form,
- sign it, and
- then submit the form with your original signature to your county auditor.
South Dakota law does not allow you to submit your voter registration form via fax or email.
