Death, Taxes, Sam Masten Wins NSIC P.O.W.

Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) – For the second week straight and sixth time this season, Northern State University senior Sam Masten is the NSIC North Division Player of the Week. Masten led the Wolves to two wins over Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston, clinching at least a share of the NSIC Overall and North Division titles.

– Averaged 23.0 points. 9.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in a pair of road wins

– Notched his fifth double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds win a 85-63 win at BSU
– Scored 25 points with eight boards in a 93-68 win at UMC
– Helped NSU clinch at least a share of the NSIC Overall and North Division championships
– Named NSIC Player of Week for the sixth time this season
