OMAHA, Neb. (WNAX) – The economy in the nine state Mid America region continues to expand but is starting to show signs of slowing.
Ernie Goss, Director of Creighton University’s Economic Forecasting Group, compiles the monthly survey and says December’s overall rating declined.
Goss says employment trends are good but also dropping.
Goss says businesses need to keep an eye on inflation.
Goss says finding enough qualified workers and trade issues continue to be problems for regional businesses.
