ABERDEEN, S.D(Press Release) – The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce’s Enhance Aberdeen Committee invites all Aberdeen businesses to participate in their annual holiday lighting & decorating contest. Both inside and outside decorations will be considered, as long as the display is visible from the street. A photo of the exterior of each business being nominated should be emailed to info@aberdeen-chamber.com by Thursday, December 2nd. All entries will be posted to the Chamber’s website for public viewing at aberdeen-chamber.com/events-programs/holiday-lighting-contest.
Judging is open to the public and will take place via Survey Monkey from December 6-10. The winner will be announced no later than Thursday, December 23rd. The prize package includes $125 lights/decorations allowance, ½ page ad in any 2022 Progress Magazine, a gift courtesy of JDH Construction and the coveted traveling trophy. This is the 7th year of the contest. Past winners include Northern Valley Communications, Malchow’s Home Furnishings, Calvary Chapel Community Church, Anthony Jewelers, Aberdeen Housing Authority and CorTrust Bank.
