Dems in transition period following office closures

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WNAX) – The South Dakota Democratic Party is going through some tough financial times, closing offices in Sioux Falls and Rapid City and having their remaining staff work remotely.

Democratic Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton says it is a difficult transition time.

Cwach says new party officials seem to be more focused on legislative candidates and races.

Cwach won his first term in the South Dakota House last year.
