Dental Van visiting Aberdeen July 8-19

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Children and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) Dental Van is coming back to Aberdeen from July 8-19.

The van visits the Hub City four weeks each year, one in January, two in July and one in October. Vicki Holley, Site Coordinator for the CASSP Dental Van, said there is something new this time.

While the service is not billed as being free, Holley said that children will not be turned away for lack of funds.

The Van will be located at Avera Dakota Medical Square, 815 First AVe. S.E. (directly east of the Aberdeen Family Y). Holley said the van does not want to take patients away from local dentists. Children who come to the dental van must not have a regular dentist or have seen a local dentist for two years or longer.

Holley said that dental van provides thousands of dollars worth of dental care.
